How to Get There
💡 Yinchuan Hedong International Airport has direct flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xi'an, Guangzhou, and other cities. The Yinchuan-Xi'an High-Speed Railway connects Yinchuan and Xi'an (about 3.5 hours), and the Baotou-Yinchuan High-Speed Railway connects Yinchuan and Baotou. Zhongwei has its own airport, with direct flights from Beijing and Shanghai.

Public security is good. Note that the ultraviolet rays in the northwest are strong and the climate is dry, so take precautions against sun exposure and stay hydrated. In summer, daytime temperatures in the Zhongwei area are relatively high (35°C+), so guard against heatstroke. Respect Hui customs and avoid mentioning topics related to pork in halal restaurants.
