It is the only Great Wall relic in Tianjin and was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1987. The existing wall is 42 kilometers long, including 66 towers, 52 enemy towers, and 14 beacon towers, gathering the essence of Great Wall architecture. It not only has the "solidity" of the Badaling Great Wall, but also the "steepness" of the Jiankou Great Wall, and the "antiquity" of the Gubeikou Great Wall, earning the reputation of "epitome of the Great Wall."
