Arrival in Nyingchi
Upon arrival at Nyingchi Airport, our guide will greet you outside the airport with a warm smile. Afterwards, you will travel by vehicle to visit [Sejila Mountain]. Sejila Mountain is located east of Nyingchi County and belongs to the Nyainqentanglha Range. It is the watershed between the Nyang River basin and the Parlung Tsangpo River, and is crossed by the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. Ascending to Sejila Pass at an elevation of 4,728 meters, you can observe the sunrise, sea of clouds, boundless forest sea, and gaze into the distance at the majestic beauty of [Namcha Barwa]. Benri Lha Mountain beside Daze Village on the western slope of Sejila Mountain is a holy site of Tibet's Bon religion and one of Tibet's four great sacred mountains; pilgrims come here throughout the year in an endless stream, with believers coming from all directions. Then you will visit [Lunang Forest Sea]. "Lunang" in Tibetan means "Dragon King Valley." It is located in Lunang Township, Nyingchi County, in Tibet's Nyingchi region, known as the "Switzerland of the Snow Region." Lunang Forest Sea is a forest amid clouds and mist, enjoying the reputation of "making people not want to go home." The entire scenic area is like a poem or painting, surrounded by standing snow mountains, with lush forests in the valleys, and meadows in the forest as neat as if trimmed by hand. Many dwellings are built in this heavenly forest surrounded by mountains and waters, with winding streams nearby and thousands of kinds of wildflowers blooming in competition—it is simply a paradise on earth.

Nyingchi - Basum Tso - Lhasa
Today you will visit [Basum Lake]. Basum Lake, also known as Cuogao Lake, is located in the high gorge and deep valley upstream of the Bahe River, about 36 kilometers from Bahe Town in Gongbo'gyamda County. It is a famous sacred lake and holy site of the Red Sect. It integrates snow-capped mountains, lakes, forests, waterfall pastures, cultural relics and historic sites, and famous ancient temples. The scenery is extraordinary and differs with the four seasons. Rare wild plants of various kinds gather here, making it truly a paradise on earth, with the reputation of "Little Switzerland." After the tour, drive back to Lhasa, passing [Mila Pass] on the way. Mila Pass is 5,013 meters above sea level. Standing at the pass, the mountain wind blows strongly. Under blue skies and white clouds, colorful prayer flags flutter and sway between the earth and the sky, connecting earth and heaven, conveying the pious wishes of Tibetans to the gods.

Lhasa City Tour (Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street)
This morning you will visit the Potala Palace, the world's highest ancient palace-fortress complex, and the residence of successive Dalai Lamas as well as the center of Tibetan political and religious power. Before ascending the Potala Palace, you must climb 1,080 steps. Although it can be a bit tiring, along the way you can overlook the entire city of Lhasa, and the beautiful scenery will make you forget your physical fatigue! In the afternoon you will visit the Jokhang Temple, the holy site in the hearts of Tibetan Buddhist believers. Lama Nyima Tsering once said, "To go to Lhasa without visiting the Jokhang Temple is tantamount to never having been to Lhasa," and countless travelers who have been there fully agree with this view. The Jokhang Temple blends Tibetan, Tang, Nepalese, and Indian architectural styles and is a model of Tibetan religious architecture. After leaving the Jokhang Temple, you can walk clockwise around the Jokhang Temple as the center, imagining yourself as a Tibetan doing a kora, or go bargain-hunting at the handicraft market on Barkhor Street. You can also simply stroll along the streets of Lhasa and feel the warmth of the City of Sunlight, or find a sweet tea house and experience a leisurely Tibetan-style afternoon tea, learning from Tibetan friends' tranquility and contentment. Friendly reminder: Potala Palace tickets are pre-purchased and have visiting time restrictions. We will flexibly adjust the order of the itinerary according to the actual reserved visiting time. Entering the Potala Palace involves a security check; dangerous items may not be carried. After entering the Potala Palace, photography is prohibited.
