🧭 Программа тура

D1
Lhasa-Yamdrok Lake-Karola Glacier-Gyantse-Shigatse
After breakfast, you will drive to Shigatse, the capital of Tsang. Along the way, you will cross the 4,600-meter Gambala Pass, where you can gaze at the Gambala Radar Station from afar. Then continue onward to visit the world's highest freshwater lake, Yamdrok Lake. [Yamdrok Lake], abbreviated as Yamdrok, means "Lake of Swans" in Tibetan. At an elevation of 4,441 meters, it is one of the three sacred lakes of Tibet, and its beauty is unmatched in southern Tibet. The clear lake water, towering snow-capped mountains, and the crystal-clear blue sky merge into one, and the picturesque scenery is so enchanting that one cannot bear to leave. After visiting Yamdrok Lake, you will drive via Nagarze to visit the Karo La Glacier at an elevation of over 5,000 meters. [Karo La Glacier] is located beside the highway, like a giant thangka hanging on the mountain wall, crystal clear and pure white, so close that it seems one could touch it. Finally, passing through the ancient town of Gyantse, you will head to Shigatse, the capital of Tsang at an elevation of 3,750 meters, for overnight accommodation.

Shigatse-Gyatsola Pass-Lhatse-Tingri-Everest Base Camp
After breakfast, you will drive to Everest Base Camp, crossing the Gyatsola Pass at an elevation of 5,220 meters along the way. At Gyatsola Pass, the upper half of your view is pure tile-blue, while the lower half is monotonous ochre-red and gray-yellow. Apart from the gray mountain road, there is almost no trace of life here. Tibetans have strung up prayer flags at this frequently visited spot. The prayer flags, mostly in red, blue, yellow, and green, strike a balance with the monotony of heaven and earth through their bold, striking colors. Afterwards, you will arrive at Tingri County, located at the northern foot of the middle section of the Himalayas at the base of Mount Everest, where rolling mountains and towering snow peaks surround you. Then you will reach the world's highest-altitude Qomolangma Nature Reserve, and visit the world's highest monastery — Rongbuk Monastery at 4,900 meters (optional, entrance fee 25 yuan). Looking south toward Everest, this is also recognized as the best location to gaze upon the peak. Afterwards, you will take an eco-friendly shuttle bus to Everest Base Camp at 5,200 meters for overnight accommodation. At dusk, as darkness slowly blankets the mountains, only the summit of Everest shines under the setting sun like a goddess's golden crown in the sky, allowing you to enjoy the glory of standing at the top of the world. In the evening, you can also step out of your tent to admire the beautiful starry sky and Milky Way over Everest. Tip: The road from Shigatse to Everest is newly paved asphalt, in good condition, with some winding mountain sections — please bring motion sickness medication. Accommodation at Base Camp is basic, with multi-person rooms, hot water available, and no breakfast provided.

Everest Base Camp-Gyawula Pass-Tingri-Lhatse-Tashilhunpo Monastery-Shigatse
In the early morning, while the peaks are still asleep in the dawn, you will face the rising sun and look up at Mount Everest, receiving the baptism of the world's highest peak, [Mount Everest] (elevation 8844.43 meters). Afterwards, return to Shigatse to visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, the seat of successive Panchen Lamas. Along the way, you will pass [Gawula Pass] at an elevation of 5210 meters, where you can see the spectacular sight of 4 snow-capped mountains over 8000 meters arranged in a row. From left to right, these four snow mountains are: Makalu (8463 meters); Lhotse (8516 meters); Mount Everest (8848 meters); Cho Oyu (8201 meters). Then arrive in Shigatse. After arriving in Shigatse, you will take a vehicle to visit Tashilhunpo Monastery. [Tashilhunpo Monastery], together with Lhasa's "three great monasteries" Ganden Monastery, Sera Monastery, and Drepung Monastery, are collectively known as the "four great monasteries" of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. Inside Tashilhunpo Monastery is enshrined the world's largest indoor bronze seated Buddha statue, the Maitreya Buddha, built in 1914 under the supervision of the Ninth Panchen Lama, Chokyi Nyima. It also houses precious Buddhist scriptures written in gold powder, such as the Kangyur and Tengyur. For over five hundred years, Tashilhunpo Monastery has attracted numerous Buddhist pilgrims and visitors from home and abroad to worship and admire it.

Shigatse-Nyêmo Grassland-Nagela Pass-Namtso-Lhasa
In the early morning, you will travel by car through the Northern Tibet Grassland, with colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind along the way. Then you will drive along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway, cross the 5,190-meter-high Lakenla Pass, and arrive at Namtso, the "Heavenly Lake," first among Tibet's three great sacred lakes. At 4,718 meters above sea level, Namtso is the world's highest-altitude large lake and China's second-largest saltwater lake. To the south is the year-round snow-capped Nyainqentanglha Range, and to the north and west are plateau hills. The vast lakeshore is surrounded by grasslands with abundant water and lush grass. The lake water has high salinity, and the basin is rich in wildlife including yaks and goats. The lake is home to many wild birds and produces scale-less and fine-scaled fish. The clear lake water reflects the surrounding snow mountains, creating beautiful scenery. Namtso is like a sparkling pearl set in the vast Changtang Grassland. After the visit, you will return to Lhasa by the same route. Tip: The drive today is relatively long and tiring, requiring an early start. The Northern Tibet region is at a high altitude, so please bring a thick coat, apply sunscreen, and bring sunglasses and a hat.
