D1
Nyingchi - Lulang
Upon arrival at Nyingchi Airport, our guide will greet you outside the airport with a warm smile, and then travel via the Nyingchi Airport Expressway to Bayi District in Nyingchi for lunch. After lunch, you will travel along National Highway 318 to Lunang for accommodation, passing through two viewing areas along the way: [Sejila Pass] and [Lunang Forest Sea]. Sejila Pass is the best spot to view the most beautiful snow mountain, Namcha Barwa. Although visitors from outside the mainland cannot enter the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon to admire the beauty of Namcha Barwa, at Sejila Pass you can still gaze at the majestic figure of this towering snow mountain. Lunang Forest Sea is one of the few forest landscapes in Tibet. Located on the edge of the Himalayas, it nonetheless offers scenery completely different from the plateau. Snow mountains in the distance, green forests shaded by trees up close—it is like a fairy-tale world.

Lulang - Ranwu Lake
After breakfast, you will drive to Ranwu Lake. The section from Lulang to Ranwu is the essence of National Highway 318 within Tibet, advancing along the Parlung Tsangpo, a tributary of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, with low altitude throughout and beautiful scenery on both sides. On this road, you may have the chance to see Tibetans prostrating themselves all the way toward Lhasa with their whole families, and you may also see brave cyclists riding the Sichuan-Tibet route. They all move forward for the faith in their hearts.
🍽️ Breakfast included, lunch on your own, dinner on your own 🏨 Rawu Lake

Ranwu Lake - Laigu Glacier - Midui Glacier - Bomi
After breakfast, you will go to visit [Ranwu Lake], taking about 1 hour in total. Ranwu Lake is extremely rich in color, with grasslands, forests, white waterfowl, colorful pebbles on the lakeshore shallows, as well as azure lake water and snow-capped peaks, making the scenery picturesque. Afterward, go to Laigu Ancient Town to visit the amazing [Laigu Glacier]. Laigu Glacier is the collective name for a group of glaciers. The glacier group consists of six glaciers: Meixi, Yalong, Ruojiao, Dongga, Xiongjia, and Niuma, among which Yalong Glacier is the most spectacular. Among the many glaciers well known to tourists in Tibet, Laigu Glacier is the bluest in color, and this has also attracted many tourists to visit. After lunch, you can go to visit [Midui Glacier]. Midui Glacier shines with snow light all year round, and its scenery is magical and charming. It is a typical representative of maritime glaciers in southeastern Tibet and is famous for its beautifully developed arcuate structures.

Bomi - Nyingchi - Basum Tso
Bomi is only 2,200 meters above sea level, with beautiful scenery and many lesser-known scenic spots nearby, such as 【Guxiang Lake】 and 【Gangyun Spruce Forest】. If you have enough time, you can absolutely visit these places to feel the gentleness and charm of Tibet, especially in spring and autumn each year, when the scenery is particularly enchanting. In spring, from Bomi you can visit Bomi's Peach Blossom Valley. Along the main road there are several relatively famous peach blossom viewing spots. Simple Tibetan villages paired with romantic peach blossoms and pure white snow-capped mountains create just the right atmosphere, excellent whether for sightseeing or enjoying life. In autumn, you can choose forest landscapes such as the Gangyun Spruce Forest, where the layered forest is dyed in every color, and autumn becomes especially gentle here. Tibet's autumn is fully expressed in Nyingchi, because the vast stretches of forest provide a stage for the colorful foliage to bloom.

Basum Tso - Lhasa
Today you will visit [Basum Tso]. The Basum Tso scenic area combines snow mountains, lakes, forests, waterfall pastures, and famous ancient temples into one, with strikingly different scenery that changes with the four seasons. It is a national-level forest park and a 5A-rated scenic area. You can also go to [Tashi Island] in Basum Tso to do a kora around the island. Tashi Island in Basum Tso is a private island of a monastery. Walking clockwise around the island, you can see a peach tree embracing a pine, a former water burial platform, the "Alphabet Tree" whose leaves naturally bear Tibetan letters, the sacred spring where Padmasambhava washed his face, and the distant mountains blending with the lake waters... On the island stands an ancient [Tsodzong Gonpa Temple], where you can see another side of Tibetan religion—phallic worship. These are placed on both sides of the temple's stone steps, male on the left and female on the right, also symbolizing respect for life. Afterwards, return to Lhasa.

Lhasa One-Day City Tour: Potala Palace, Barkhor Street
In the morning, you will visit the [Potala Palace], the world's highest ancient palace-fortress architectural complex. This palace with a long history was once the residence of successive Tibetan kings and also the place where successive Dalai Lamas worked and lived. The Potala Palace houses many historical relics and priceless gold and jewelry, making it truly a treasure palace. Spending 1-2 hours visiting the Potala Palace will certainly reward you greatly. After coming out from inside the Potala Palace, you can take a circular tour around the Potala Palace. Potala Palace Square is the best location for photographing a panoramic view of the Potala Palace, and many people come here to check in and take photos. Chakpori in the southwest corner is a favorite check-in spot for mainland tourists, because the Potala Palace on the 50-yuan banknote was photographed from Chakpori. Zongjiao Lukang Park behind the Potala Palace is the favorite leisure place for Tibetans in Lhasa's old town. If you want to experience the leisure life of Lhasa people, you might as well step into Zongjiao Lukang. Then head to [Barkhor Street]. This is the busiest block in Lhasa, Tibet. Whether local Tibetans or tourists, people like to gather on this street, whether to buy and sell, taste food, or relax and entertain. Many internet-famous restaurants are also located here, and specialty foods from all over the world can be found on Barkhor Street. Whether day or night, Barkhor Street is the liveliest and most worthwhile place to experience.

Lhasa - Yamdrok Lake - Sera Monastery
After breakfast, you will go to visit [Yamdrok Lake]. The full name of Yamdrok Lake is Yamdrok Yumtso, one of the three great sacred lakes of Tibet. Its water is as clear as mutton fat, and the lake water is sweet and drinkable. The deep blue lake water merges with the distant snow mountains, together with the varied mountains on both banks, the highly distinctive Tibetan villages, and the cattle and sheep everywhere, making the whole journey refreshing and delightful. In the afternoon, you will go to [Sera Monastery] to watch the famous debate activity. The debate usually starts at 15:00. (If the monastery temporarily holds Dharma assemblies or receives special guests, the debate activity may be canceled. Please understand!!) During the debate, the lamas in the courtyard engage in fierce debate, and you can truly feel the faith and power of Tibetan Buddhism.
