Tianchi is located halfway up the mountain below Bogda Peak in Fukang City, Xinjiang, at an altitude of 1,980 meters. It is a natural alpine lake. In winter, the entire Tianshan mountain range is covered with pure white snow. Along the way, you can see distant snow mountains and forests, whose colors appear especially pure against the white snow. After arriving at Tianchi, known as the "Realm in Heaven," the entire lake surface is frozen.
