Welcome to Xi'an. Our guide will meet you at your hotel or the airport/train station and then take you to begin this Xi'an journey. First, you will visit the time-honored Xi'an Ancient City Wall. [Xi'an Ancient City Wall], first built in the Ming Dynasty and also known as the Xi'an Ming City Wall, is one of the largest and best-preserved ancient city walls in China. You can climb onto the wall, walk on the historic blue bricks, and feel the charm of the ancient city wall, or ride a bicycle around it and enjoy the superb scenery formed by the ancient city wall and the modern cityscape together. Afterwards, you will visit Xi'an's famous food and culture street—[Muslim Quarter], experiencing the local lifestyle while savoring local specialty snacks. In addition, the [Great Mosque in Huajue Lane] near Muslim Quarter is also well worth a visit. It is an Islamic mosque featuring a typical Chinese architectural style combined with Islamic architectural characteristics, making it very distinctive. Finally, return to the hotel for check-in and rest. If you still have energy, you can also stroll around the surrounding area. Optional Activities Today 1). After breakfast, you will drive about 40 minutes to visit the Terracotta Army, one of the "Eighth Wonders of the World." The 【Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum】 is a heritage museum built on the original site of the terracotta pits and is also China's largest ancient military museum. Accompanied by your professional guide's vivid commentary, you will visit Pits No. 1, 2, and 3 in sequence, learning about the historical background and craftsmanship of the Terracotta Army, as well as the little-known stories behind these thousand-year-old clay figures buried in the long river of history. After the visit, you can also take part in a local specialty experience activity - 【DIY a Miniature Terracotta Warrior】. Under the guidance of a local potter, you will make a miniature terracotta warrior with your own hands, experience the terracotta craft, and take home a one-of-a-kind travel souvenir. Then you will visit Xi'an's famous cultural landmark - the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. 【Giant Wild Goose Pagoda】 is located within Daci'en Temple and is the earliest existing and largest Tang Dynasty square pavilion-style brick pagoda. It has seven stories and stands about 64 meters tall. Here you can admire the ancient architectural style, view the scriptures and Buddha statues brought back from Tianzhu by Master Xuanzang that are housed in the pagoda, and also climb this thousand-year-old pagoda to look out over the Xi'an cityscape. In the evening, you will visit the dazzling and bustling 【Grand Tang Mall】, a large pedestrian street of Tang-style architecture set against the backdrop of High Tang culture. Here you can check in at phenomenal cultural IPs such as the "Tumbler Lady," the "Li Bai" who trades poems for roujiamo, the "Fang Xuanling" and "Du Ruhui" of the Tang Dynasty Mystery Box, the "Stone Man," and the "Dunhuang Flying Apsaras," or wander through the extraordinarily lively streets and alleys, enjoying the elegance of the prosperous Chang'an of old.

After breakfast, you will drive 118 km (about 1.5-2 hours) to visit Mount Hua, one of China's famous Five Great Mountains. [Mount Hua] is not only a birthplace of Chinese civilization but also a holy place of the Quanzhen School, the mainstream school of Chinese Taoism. It consists of five peaks and enjoys the reputation of "the most precipitous mountain under heaven." Among China's Five Great Mountains, it is the one with more beautiful and precipitous scenery and greater climbability. Today's reference route for visiting Mount Hua: cable car - North Peak - Canglong Ridge - Central Peak - East Peak - Changkong Plank Road - South Peak - West Peak - cable car, taking about 6-7 hours in total. First, you will take a bus from the visitor center to the foot of Mount Hua's North Peak (about 20 minutes), then take the cable car directly to the North Peak (Cloud Terrace Peak) (about 10 minutes). Here you can take in the magnificent surrounding mountain scenery and views of the other four peaks. Afterwards, trek along Canglong Ridge, walking on a blade-like ridge with bottomless cliffs on both sides, extremely precipitous. Then reach Jinsuo Pass, where you can see countless red ribbons and golden locks representing love and wishes hanging on the iron chains on both sides of the path. Then continue toward the Central Peak (Jade Maiden Peak). From the Central Peak, trek about 40 minutes to the East Peak (Chaoyang Peak), the best spot for watching the sunrise on Mount Hua. After that, come to the most challenging section of this Mount Hua trek - the Changkong Plank Road. This plank road is located on a cliff face, supported only by horizontally suspended iron chains and wooden boards underfoot, and is therefore also known as one of the most dangerous hiking routes in the world. (Note: walking across the Changkong Plank Road takes about 0.5-1 hour and is a great test of courage, so those without hiking experience or with a fear of heights can choose another route.) Then reach the South Peak (Falling Goose Peak), the highest peak of Mount Hua (altitude 2,154.9 m). Here you can overlook the magnificent surrounding scenery. After sightseeing, continue trekking about 30 minutes to the West Peak (Lotus Peak). Here you can visit attractions such as Cuiyun Palace and Axe-Cleaving Rock, and also listen to the legendary story of Chenxiang cleaving the mountain to save his mother. Afterwards, walk about 20 minutes to the West Mountain cableway station and take the cable car down (about 20 minutes). On the cable car, you can take one last look back at the beauty of Mount Hua. After reaching the foot of the mountain, drive back to your hotel in Xi'an and check in to rest. Tips 1). Conditions on Mount Hua are limited, so it is recommended to bring your own food and drinks. 2). The Changkong Plank Road will be temporarily closed for maintenance or in severe conditions, and the route will be adjusted to another one. 3). During peak tourist season, there are many visitors at Mount Hua, and queuing to go up the mountain may occur.
