🧭 Programme du voyage

D1
Lhasa-Basum Tso-Lulang
This morning, you will depart from Lhasa and travel via the beautiful Lhasa-Nyingchi Expressway to the low-altitude Nyingchi region. After arriving in Nyingchi, you will first visit Basum Lake Scenic Area, known as Tibet's "Little Switzerland." [Basum Lake] is a sacred lake of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. The pure, emerald-green lake water looks especially charming against the blue sky and white clouds. Walk across the floating bridge to the island in the middle of the lake and reach the observation deck; leaning on the railing in the breeze and climbing high to enjoy the view will be enough to enchant you. The ancient Tsozong Monastery on the island is the main attraction; built in the 13th century AD, it is a famous monastery of the Nyingma school. (Approximately 120 minutes) After visiting Basum Lake, you will head toward Lulang International Town. Along the way, you will cross the 4,728-meter Sejila Pass. [Sejila Pass], located southeast of Bayi Town, is a famous landmark on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. Here you can gaze at the Lulang Forest and Mount Namcha Barwa behind it from afar, making it a great spot for photos. If you visit in May or June, you can also see azaleas blooming all over Sejila Mountain. (Approximately 30 minutes) Finally, you will arrive in Lulang. For dinner, taste the specialty Lulang stone pot chicken. Made with hand-shaped ginseng and free-range chicken, slowly stewed in a specially made stone pot, Lulang stone pot chicken has a very unique flavor. The soup has a faint herbal fragrance, and the chicken is tender yet springy, rich in 17 mineral trace elements such as magnesium and iron.

D2
Lulang-Midui Glacier-Half Ring Rawu Lake-Rawu Lake
This morning, you will stroll through Lunang Town, experiencing the sanctity and tranquility of the "Switzerland of the East." Afterwards, you will drive to Bomi, passing by the Tongmai Bridge along the way. This was originally the most perilous section of National Highway 318 — the Tongmai Natural Barrier — and is well worth a look. (approx. 30 minutes) Next, you will pass by Armor Mountain. Armor Mountain, originally named Alichori, is also called "Songduobare Holy Mountain" and "Nianbochare Holy Mountain." Legend has it that they are a married couple, and the surrounding snow-capped mountains are all their children. The upper portion near the summit of Armor Mountain is entirely composed of slate rock layers, with long and distinct lines that have weathered into numerous long terraces. Every April and May, after part of the snow on the slate cliffs melts, from a distance the patterns resemble the armor worn by ancient soldiers — hence the name Armor Mountain. (approx. 10 minutes) In the afternoon, you will visit Midui Glacier. Midui Glacier is the lowest-altitude glacier in the world. The entire glacier is as pure as jade, with beautiful scenery, varied forms, and enchanting postures. It is surrounded by herds of cattle and sheep, rustic Tibetan dwellings, majestic snow-capped mountains, and wild animals such as rock-climbing sheep and monkeys that never leave. (approx. 180 minutes) After visiting Midui Glacier, you will head to Rawok Lake Scenic Area and take a partial loop around Rawok Lake. Rawok Lake's azure waters and snow-white peaks form a picturesque scene. Depending on the season, the lake water displays various colors, from azure to turquoise. Many rocks and small islands dot the lake, with tree shadows dancing on the surface in spring and thin mist spreading in autumn and winter — the beauty of all four seasons makes you feel as if you have entered a dream. (approx. 60 minutes) Tip: Due to the long visit time at Midui Glacier and the need for hiking, lunch may be delayed. It is recommended that guests bring some snacks — beef jerky, chocolate, and other high-calorie foods.

Rawu-Best Scenic Section of G318-Laigu Glacier-Bomi
After breakfast, you will travel along the finest and most beautiful section of the 318 route, heading toward Bomi's [Laigu Glacier] accompanied by beautiful scenery all the way. Bomi enjoys the reputation of "Hometown of Glaciers." The multiple glaciers surrounding Laigu Village form the Laigu Glacier Group, creating several glacial lakes in front of the village. Due to different geological and soil compositions where each glacier is located, each glacial lake reflects a different color. On one glacial lake, icebergs of various sizes float, making it truly feel as if you have arrived in Antarctica. Between the end of the glacier and the glacial lake, the fractured glacier reveals over ten meters of deep blue ice layers. The beauty of the glacier is breathtaking and dreamlike. (About 3-4 hours; because Laigu Glacier takes a long time, it is recommended to bring food for lunch.) After visiting Laigu Glacier, arrive in Bomi for check-in, and enjoy Bomi's unique delicacy for dinner—wild mushroom hot pot.

Bomi-Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon-Suosong Village
After breakfast, you will travel by car to Nyingchi, passing through Lulang Forest Sea. Lulang Forest Sea is nestled deep in the mountains and forests, with large stretches of verdant forest along the mountainsides, mainly vertical spruces and pines. The scenery is fresh and beautiful, and it is a great place for photography. Lulang Forest Sea is very large; you can stand at the viewing platform on National Highway 318 and gaze at the forest in the sea of clouds and mist. The entire scenic area is picturesque, surrounded by snow mountains, with lush forests in the valleys—truly a paradise on earth. (About 30 minutes) After visiting Lulang Forest Sea, you will head to the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon. The Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon is known as the "world's greatest canyon." The canyon scenic area is the most mysterious region of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and has been rated as the world's deepest, longest, and highest-altitude grand canyon. With peaks and canyon in close proximity, the dramatic topographic contrast of several thousand meters creates a magnificent wonder that can be called the world's finest. (About 90 minutes) After visiting the grand canyon, you will head to Suosong Village for overnight stay. For dinner, you will taste yak meat soup pot—a natural food, low in fat and high in calories, the top choice for wellness.

Suosong Village-Namcha Barwa Sunrise-Nyang River-Lhasa
Early this morning, you will go to watch the sunrise over 【Namcha Barwa Peak】. Watching the sunrise is a very romantic thing; even if you are alone, it is still a beautiful memory. If you are lucky, you may also have the chance to see the stunning sight of golden sunlight on the snow-capped mountain. Afterwards, you will pass through the Niyang River Scenic Belt. The 【Niyang River】 is the largest tributary on the north side of the Yarlung Tsangpo River and one of the five major tributaries within the Yarlung Tsangpo River basin. In the afternoon, you will cross the 【Mila Pass】 at an altitude of 5,013 meters. Standing at the pass, the mountain wind blows strongly. Under the blue sky and white clouds, colorful prayer flags flutter and sway between the earth and the sky, connecting earth to heaven and conveying the devout wishes of Tibetans to the gods. The pass is covered with snow year-round and preserves traces of ancient glacial activity. Afterwards, you will arrive in Lhasa, where the group tour ends.
