Lhozhag - Baima Lin Lake - Kula Kangri Sacred Mountain - Nagarze - Yamdrok Lake - Lhasa
After breakfast, you will first visit Palung Lake. 【Palung Lake】 is located deep in the Himalayas, a beautiful lake embraced by the peaks of the Kula Kangri range. Legend has it that Palung Lake is also a divination lake—if you are fortunate, you may even see your past and future lives in its waters.
After visiting Palung Lake, you will head to the Kula Kangri Sacred Mountain viewing platform to take in the mountain immersively. 【Kula Kangri Sacred Mountain】 is one of the four great sacred mountains of Tibet. The entire snow mountain range consists of three peaks, and from afar it looks like a massive barrier of ice and snow.
Afterwards, you will continue onward, passing through Nagarze to visit Yamdrok Lake, enjoying its beauty from viewing platforms 1, 2, and 3. 【Yamdrok Lake】, or Yang Lake for short, is one of the three great holy lakes of Tibet. Yamdrok Lake is like a delicate sapphire-blue silk ribbon wrapped around the mountains, shimmering with a soft, ever-changing blue light that stretches into the distance. In the deep blue water, the waves sparkle and gleam with golden light; on the lake islands, yellow ducks, grey ducks, black-necked cranes, and swans gather in flocks, rising and landing from time to time; in the distance, the peaks are clad in silvery white, and the lake and mountains reflect each other in incomparable splendor. No wonder people say: the beauty of the heavenly lake lies in its grandeur; the beauty of Yang Lake lies in its elegance. Afterwards, return to Lhasa.
