One-Day Lhasa City Tour (Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street)
In the morning, you will visit the Potala Palace, the world's highest ancient palace-style architectural complex, the residence of successive Dalai Lamas and the center of Tibetan political and religious power. Before climbing up to the Potala Palace, you must ascend 1,080 steps. Although it will be a little tiring, you can overlook the entire city of Lhasa, and the beautiful scenery will make you forget your physical fatigue! In the afternoon, you will visit the Jokhang Temple, the holy site in the hearts of Tibetan Buddhist believers. "If you go to Lhasa without visiting the Jokhang Temple, it is equal to never having been to Lhasa." This is a saying by the famous lama Nyima Tsering at the Jokhang Temple, and almost every traveler agrees with it. The Jokhang Temple blends Tibetan, Tang, Nepalese, and Indian architectural styles and is a timeless model of Tibetan religious architecture. After leaving the Jokhang Temple, you can walk clockwise around the Jokhang Temple as the center, imagining yourself as a Tibetan doing a kora, or go shopping in the handicraft market on Barkhor Street, or simply stroll slowly along the streets, feel the warmth of the City of Sunlight, or find a sweet tea house and learn from Tibetan friends their tranquility and contentment.

📌 Informations de réservation

· 1. Patients with severe high blood pressure or heart disease are not advised to go to Tibet, and tourists with severe colds should recover before entering Tibet. · 2. Tibet is located on a plateau, and most guests will experience altitude sickness to a greater or lesser degree. As long as you rest well and eat properly (do not eat too much, which increases the burden on your stomach and intestines), and relax, mild altitude sickness generally disappears in about 1-3 days, so there is no need to worry too much; a very small number of travelers may experience severe altitude sickness, and as long as you communicate with the guide or driver in time, oxygen can be provided or medical attention arranged promptly. · 3. Because the routes in Tibet are long, much time is spent in the vehicle, and it is unavoidable that meals may not be eaten on time, so please bring some snacks and biscuits. · 4. Due to the special conditions in Tibet, please keep yourself warm, and try not to take a shower on the first day, as showering accelerates blood circulation and increases the body's demand for oxygen. · 5. The sunlight in Tibet is strong and the climate is especially dry, so sunscreen, sunglasses, lip balm, etc. are essential. · 6. April to November each year is a relatively suitable time to travel to Tibet. · 1. Visitors from all over the world are welcome to sign up for the above routes. Visitors from outside the mainland traveling to Tibet should consult customer service in advance to handle the relevant procedures. The above prices do not include tax. · 2. If you cancel the itinerary after registration for personal reasons, the refund standards are as follows: Cancellation more than 20 days before the start of the itinerary, free cancellation. Cancellation 19-4 days before the start of the itinerary, a penalty of 30% of the deposit paid will be charged. Cancellation within 3 days before the start of the itinerary, a penalty of 50% of the deposit paid will be charged. Cancellation 1 day before the start of the itinerary, the deposit is non-refundable. · 3. If increased costs are incurred or the normal itinerary cannot be followed due to force majeure factors such as landslides, mudslides, avalanches, floods, earthquakes, and other natural phenomena, or due to airline flight delays or cancellations, our agency will not bear the corresponding compensation liability according to relevant tourism regulations, but we will actively coordinate and handle the matter so that the itinerary can proceed smoothly. · 4. If guests fail to complete activities during the tour or leave the group early for personal reasons, it will be regarded as automatic abandonment, and the fees will not be refunded. · 5. June, July, August, and September each year are the peak season for Tibet tourism. Joining our agency can guarantee tickets to the Potala Palace. To protect the Potala Palace heritage site, only 2,300 visitors can be received each day, so the Potala Palace visit may be moved earlier or later. · 6. Without affecting the originally agreed standards and attractions, our agency may change the order of sightseeing according to the actual situation on the day of the itinerary. · 7. Patients with severe high blood pressure, asthma, or heart disease should not join the group, and patients with colds should enter Tibet after recovery. · 8. Tibet is a frontier ethnic minority region, and tourism reception conditions are limited. We hope all tourists have reasonable expectations, respect the cultural beliefs and living habits of ethnic minority compatriots, and live together in harmony. · 9. If a natural single room occurs due to gender reasons, our agency will arrange a triple room (or a standard twin room with an extra bed), or the guest will pay the single room supplement. · 10. Shops in scenic areas and Tibetan folk villages are not shopping stops arranged by the travel agency, so please consider carefully. · 11. Optional paid activities are considered according to the tour joining time and the proportion of participants in favor that day, and no forced consumption is imposed.
