Chaka Salt Lake - Gangca Grassland - Dadongshu Snow Mountain Pass - Qilian County Town
Sleep in until you wake naturally in the morning, have breakfast, and head to China's version of the "Mirror of the Sky," 【Chaka Salt Lake】. As a salt-producing area with a long history, the salt grains in Chaka Salt Lake form patches of white crystals. The lake water, so tranquil that there is not a ripple, replicates the sky on the clear silver-white lake surface. As you walk, it feels like walking in a fantasy above the sky. You can stroll in the salt lake above the clouds, fully enjoying the beautiful scene where water and sky meet, and you can also take a retro mini train along the tracks deep into the heart of the lake, placing yourself in a world of salt. (Chaka Salt Lake admission is 60 yuan, mini train is 50 yuan/person one way, sightseeing time is about 3 hours, expenses at your own cost.)
After lunch, continue onward, passing through the beautiful Gangcha Grassland, then arrive at 【Dadongshu Mountain Pass】 at an altitude of 4,120 meters. There is a rest stop here where you can get out and take photos. Next, visit 【Qilian Zhuor Mountain】. It seems like a bold and heavy brushstroke from God: distant snow mountains with clear lines, verdant alpine meadows, exposed red Danxia rock formations, and the white silk-like Babao River at the foot of the mountain. Each place is a scene, heavenly Qilian, so unreal!
At night, stay in the small town of Qilian, full of ethnic charm and known as the "Little Switzerland of the East."

Warm Tips
1. It is recommended to prepare some wet wipes to avoid damage to the skin from the salt grains and salt water at Chaka Salt Lake.
2. On sunny days at Chaka Salt Lake, ultraviolet rays and lake reflections are very strong. Please pay attention to sun protection and eye protection; sunglasses are a very good choice.
3. There are no restaurants in the scenic area, so it is recommended to bring food and drinking water.
4. The altitude of Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Area is about 3,000 meters. During sightseeing, it is recommended not to engage in strenuous exercise to avoid altitude sickness.
5. Because the salt layer is rough and there is a lot of mud in the deeper parts of the lake, it is recommended that you try not to walk barefoot or go too deep when visiting Chaka Salt Lake. Check in at the hotel and rest.
