Hidden in the alleys are authentic Jiangxi snacks—steaming hot rice noodles and silky tofu pudding. Sitting down for a bowl is truly comforting. Looking for some excitement? Try the glass walkway built over the steep canyon. It's nearly 100 meters above the ground, with rushing rapids below and layered mountains opposite. The scenery is superb, and the expansive view will set your heart racing. The valley is rich in springs, with Wangxian Waterfall and Three-Tier Waterfall coming one after another, babbling water and refreshing views everywhere. Most surprising of all—this picture-perfect place was formerly an abandoned quarry. Who would have thought that a former stone pit has now transformed into a fairyland on earth. When darkness falls, Wangxian Valley truly comes alive. Houses built along the mountain light up with warm yellow lights, extending from the foot to the top of the mountain. From afar, they look like celestial palaces hidden in the sky from mythology. This scene reminds one of the Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai's poem "Staying Overnight at a Mountain Temple": "The towering tower rises a hundred feet high; one can almost pluck the stars with a hand. I dare not speak aloud, lest I disturb the heavenly beings." It means: the hundred-foot tower is so high that you can almost pick the stars; I dare not speak loudly, for fear of disturbing the immortals living in heaven. Walking slowly along the valley paths, you'll feel as if you've stepped into a world of martial arts—teahouses hang on cliffs, waterfalls cascade down in tiers, and the sound of water intertwines with light and shadow. If you're lucky, you might encounter street performances or a traditional sword dance. In that moment, you'll truly feel as if you've traveled back to the ancient martial arts world of China. After breakfast, drive to Ling Mountain, listed in Daoist scriptures as the "Thirty-Third Blessed Land Under Heaven." Here, the mountains are shrouded in clouds and mist all year round, with fantastic peaks and strange rocks appearing and disappearing, truly like a world stepped out of a xianxia novel. Strolling in the mountains, you will encounter uncanny granite cliffs, ridges piercing the sky like swords, ethereal and shifting mountain mist, and huge rocks shaped like divine beasts—some like a golden turtle gazing at the moon, some like a divine dragon coiled in place. Each one makes you stop and look closely. No wonder poets hundreds of years ago wrote verses for it—Wang Anshi and Xin Qiji both climbed here to enjoy the scenery, and Xin Qiji even left the famous line: "Layer upon layer of peaks gallop west, ten thousand horses wheeling back, the mountains all longing to go east." To make the climb easy and stress-free, you will experience Asia's longest cliffside sky escalator, with a total length of 1,236 meters, composed of 5 groups and 10 sections of escalators winding up along steep cliffs, known as the "Stairway to the Sky." Standing on the escalator, the mountain breeze brushes your face, clouds and mist swirl around you, and beneath your feet are verdant forests and distant fields—in about 30 minutes, you can "float" from the foot of the mountain to the core viewing area, as effortlessly as riding the clouds. Compared with the physical exertion of traditional mountain climbing, which often takes three to four hours, this is simply a magical tool for "painless mountain climbing." After getting off the escalator, begin hiking along the cliffside boardwalk. This is a loop route that links Ling Mountain's most essential granite landforms. Standing on it, you seem to float in the sky, and a casual shot looks like a xianxia drama poster. ② China Dragon Ridge: A granite ridge over a kilometer long. Seen from afar, it looks like a green dragon coiled atop the mountain. When clouds and mist swirl around it, it seems ready to ride the clouds away at any moment. ③ Giant Strange Rock Group: Along the way, you will pass strange rocks of various forms such as "Xiongba Tianxia," "Ling Mountain Holy Mother," and "South Heavenly Gate," each with its own unique legend and best photo angle. After the tour, drive to Shangrao Railway Station and take a train back to Shanghai.
