Considering the special nature of the high-altitude environment, we have thoughtfully arranged ample time for you to gradually adapt to the altitude, avoiding the discomfort caused by rushing, and allowing your body to meet this land gently and comfortably. [Warm Tips] Free airport/station pickup service is provided (5-9 seats): after tourists arrive, the driver will pick them up and take them to the hotel; travel agency staff will inform you in advance of the hotel check-in method, so please check in on your own. The driver will notify you by phone or text before 22:00 of the meeting time for the next day's departure. Altitude sickness: On the day you arrive in Lhasa, do not do strenuous exercise, and do not take a shower that night to avoid catching a cold. Do not drink alcohol. Drink more water and eat fruit, and do not overeat. Rest more. You may bring your own American ginseng lozenges or health supplements such as rhodiola and Gao Yuan An to relieve altitude sickness. Set off from Lhasa, head to the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon to take in the stunning scenery, then go to Nyingchi to experience its distinctive charm. [Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon · Magnificent] Follow the Nyang River eastward all the way, and you will arrive at "the deepest crack on Earth"—[Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon]. Entering the canyon in spring, the fresh scent of vegetation drifts into the car window, peach blossoms spread over the cliffs, and petals fall inside with the wind. The river surges with snowmelt, and when you raise your camera to photograph Namcha Barwa, it is often obscured by clouds and mist. Nyingchi → Basum Lake → Lhasa

[Basum Tso · Lake Mirror] Basum Tso is the largest freshwater lake in eastern Tibet. Its shape is like a crescent moon inlaid in high mountains and canyons, and its water is so clear that the bottom can be seen, creating a delightful contrast with the snow mountains. There is a small island in the lake, on which stands Tsozong Gongba Monastery, built in the late Tang Dynasty. The main deities worshipped in the hall include Guru Padmasambhava, Thousand-Hand Guanyin, and the Golden Boy and Jade Girl. Stepping into the Basum Tso scenic area is like entering a landscape painting. The lake water is as green as a gem, shimmering under the sunlight. On the island in the middle of the lake, the thousand-year-old Tsozong Gongba Monastery is solemn and dignified, carrying a rich historical culture. Depart from Lhasa, follow National Highway 349 past the azure surface of Yamdrok Lake (Yamdrok Tso), cross the ice tongue area of Karola Glacier, and finally arrive in Shigatse. The total distance is about 350 kilometers, with a drive of 7 hours, taking in snow mountains, sacred lakes, and glacier wonders. [Yamdrok Lake · Spiritual and Holy] It is one of the three great sacred lakes of Tibet, formed when glacial debris blocked the river channel. The lake surface is at an altitude of 4,441 meters, with a water area of 638 square kilometers. Looking down from above, the lake water is like a winding ribbon. Refracted by sunlight, its blue has rich layers, sometimes light blue like the clear sky, sometimes deep blue like a mysterious gem. It is surrounded by snow mountains such as Noijin Kangsang Peak, which is 7,206 meters high and majestic, complementing Yamdrok Lake beautifully. In the lake, 21 small islands are scattered like stars, each with its own characteristics. [Karola Glacier · Wondrous] This glacier can be called "wondrous." Located at the border between Nagarze County and Gyantse County, it is one of the three major continental glaciers in Tibet and the eastern source of the Nianchu River. It backs onto the southern slope of Noijin Kangsang Peak, and the front edge of its ice tongue is at an altitude of 5,560 meters. Depart from Shigatse to visit Tashilhunpo Monastery and experience the solemnity of the sacred realm, then set off back to Lhasa, ending the journey in the afterglow of the holy city. 【Tashilhunpo Monastery · Sacred Realm】 Located on Jijilangka Road in Shigatse, it is one of the six great monasteries of the Gelug school and the largest monastery in the Tsang region. Its Tibetan name means "Auspicious Mount Sumeru." It covers an area of 150,000 square meters, with 57 scripture halls and 3,600 rooms. The entire monastery is built along the hillside, with golden roofs and red walls, halls rising one after another in balanced density. The Tsokchen Hall is the earliest structure, and the sutra debating courtyard in front can accommodate many monks for debates. Its most stunning treasure is the world's largest bronze Maitreya Buddha enshrined in the Maitreya Buddha Hall—the Jampa Buddha (Buddha of the Future): this gilded colossal statue stands 26.2 meters tall, consuming 279 kilograms of gold and 230,000 jin of brass, and its hand alone can hold three people standing. The Relic Stupa Hall enshrines the stupas of successive Panchen Lamas, and the monastery also houses a large number of precious cultural relics.
