4-Day Zhangjiajie Highlights Tour

Your guide will meet you at the airport or train station. Look for the name card. From there, a private car takes you directly to your hotel. Take the cable car up to Tianzi Mountain, where dense clusters of peaks rise from the mist. Walk the ridgeline paths and observe the changing views. Afternoon: Yuanjiajie. Take a public shuttle bus into Yuanjiajie, the area that inspired Avatar's Hallelujah Mountain. Spend time here to appreciate the landscape. Getting Down: The Bailong Elevator. Avoid the long walk down. The Bailong Elevator, the world's highest outdoor lift, built into a cliff face, takes 2 minutes to descend.

Meals: Morning: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. The area features cliffs, caves, waterfalls, and a famous glass bridge. The world's longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge runs 430 meters across a 300-meter drop. Walking it is optional. Afternoon: Baofeng Lake. A 20-minute walk brings you to a lake in the mountain terrain. Board a wooden boat for a 30-minute cruise across clear water. Local minority performers sing traditional songs along the banks.

Meals: Tianmen Mountain is Zhangjiajie's highest peak and widely considered its most dramatic. Today you will visit three notable sites. After the tour, transportation is provided back to the airport or station.
