Arrival in Chengdu
Arrival - Hotel - Free Time
Pick-up from Chengdu Tianfu Airport or train station and transfer to your hotel. After that, you are free to explore the city.

High-Speed Train to Jiuzhaigou
Chengdu - Bullet Train - Mountain Altitude - Hotel
Morning train to Jiuzhaigou Station (approximately 2 hours 20 minutes).
Pick-up at the station and transfer to your hotel near Jiuzhaigou. Tonight, take it easy as you are now at around 2,000-2,500 meters (6,500-8,200 feet) elevation. Drink water. Avoid strenuous activity. Let your body adjust.
Note: If you have had altitude issues above 2,500 meters before, inform us in advance to arrange oxygen canisters.

Jiuzhaigou Valley - Full Day
Full Day in Jiuzhaigou Valley
Jiuzhaigou Valley is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
How the valley works: Jiuzhaigou is divided into three main routes in a Y-shaped layout. Most visitors focus on the Rize Valley (Five Flower Lake, Panda Lake) and Shuzheng Valley (Nuorilang Waterfall, Reed Lake). Pearl Shoal sits in between. The valley has eco-friendly shuttle buses that hop between sites. You can get off, explore, and get back on. You will cover the highlights in one full day, but if you are a slow walker or a photography enthusiast, you might feel a bit rushed.
Wear comfortable shoes. Bring snacks. Charge your camera.

Back to Chengdu - Kuanzhai Alley
Train Ride - Old Chengdu
Morning train back to Chengdu. Drop your bags at the hotel, then head to Kuanzhai Alley (宽窄巷子), a restored historic neighborhood with traditional architecture, street snacks, tea houses, and photo opportunities.
What to eat:
Note: Most street food here is spicy and contains peanuts/sesame. If you have allergies or cannot handle heat, stick to the sit-down restaurants in the alley, which have English menus and can adjust spice levels.

Dujiangyan + Panda Base
Ancient Irrigation System - Giant Pandas
Morning: Dujiangyan Irrigation System. Built over 2,000 years ago and still in use. It is an engineering marvel. There is also a scenic spot called "Blue Tears" where the water is photogenic.
Afternoon: Chengdu Panda Base. The Panda Base is home to dozens of giant pandas at various life stages, including babies, juveniles, and adults.
You will also see red pandas and learn about conservation efforts.

Chunxi Road + Taikoo Li Shopping District
Free Day: Shop, Eat, Wander
No schedule today. Explore Chunxi Road (春熙路), Chengdu's main shopping street, a pedestrian zone with international brands, local boutiques, and bubble tea shops.
Next door is Taikoo Li (太古里), an upscale open-air shopping complex with notable architecture. There is also a large Apple Store and a Buddhist temple (Daci Temple) in the middle, reflecting Chengdu's blend of ancient and modern.
Evening suggestion: Find a rooftop bar, order a cocktail, and watch the city light up.

Airport Drop-Off
Hotel - Tianfu Airport - Departure
Transfer to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport based on your flight time. If you have an afternoon flight, you can have one more soup dumpling breakfast.

· Guided Tour Service: As mentioned above, this is a private independent tour with vehicle, driver, and tickets included, but no guide. A guide can be arranged for any part of the trip upon request.
· Lunches and Dinners: Most meals are not included, providing flexibility to eat where and when you prefer, from street food to restaurants or convenience stores.
· Single Room Supplement: If your group has an odd number and someone requires a separate room, an extra charge applies. Hotels do not provide solo rooms without additional cost.
· Optional Activities: Anything beyond the listed itinerary (e.g., Tibetan cultural shows, extra temple visits) is not included.
· Personal Expenses: Souvenirs, snacks, tips, and other personal items are not included.
· Visa Fees: China visa arrangements are handled by you before arrival.

· What to Pack: Layers (mountain weather varies), comfortable walking shoes (you will be on your feet a lot), sunscreen and sunglasses (high altitude means stronger UV), power bank (for photography), translation app (not everyone speaks English outside Chengdu)
