Temporary fingerprint exemption for short-term visas
Since September 2024, Chinese embassies and consulates abroad haveshort-term visas for stays of no more than 180 daysapplicants,temporarily exempted from fingerprinting. This measure saves many short-term travelers to China for tourism, business, or visiting relatives the need to make a special trip to provide fingerprints, saving travel time.
Appointments Replaced by "Walk-in Processing"
