Transportation Guide

Pingyao Ancient City Station has high-speed rail connections to Taiyuan, Xi'an, and other places, while Pingyao Station has regular trains; within the ancient city, walking is the main way to get around, with bicycles or sightseeing carts available for rent; the Wang Family Compound, Shuanglin Temple, and other sites are outside the city, so chartering a car or taking a taxi is recommended.
