The lake is shaped like a crescent moon set in high mountain gorges, with crystal-clear water reflecting snow-capped mountains, truly bringing one back to "Shangri-La" and leaving one enchanted. Snow peaks, glaciers, primeval forests, and ancient sites tightly surround Basum Lake.
