After breakfast, you will visit the world-famous Tiananmen Square. [Tiananmen Square] is located on Beijing's central axis and is the largest city-center square in the world. It holds an important place in Chinese history and has witnessed countless major historical events. Here you can see the majestic Tiananmen Gate Tower and learn about China's long-standing culture. Afterward, cross the square to visit the Palace Museum in Beijing. [The Forbidden City], also known as the Purple Forbidden City, is located at the center of Beijing's central axis. It was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties and is the world's largest and best-preserved complex of wooden palace architecture. After breakfast, you will drive about 2.5 hours to [Jinshanling Great Wall], known as a photographer's paradise. Today's Great Wall trip will start from Zhuanduokou. You will traverse the eastern section of the Jinshanling Great Wall, passing watchtowers such as General Tower, Small Jinshan Tower, and Great Jinshan Tower, learning the history of each watchtower and taking excellent travel photos. Afterward, you can choose to take the cable car down from Small Jinshan Tower or walk down to East Five-Eye Tower. Next, you will visit Simatai Great Wall. After breakfast, you will visit Gubei Water Town, surrounded by mountains. [Gubei Water Town] is located beneath China's most beautiful and precipitous Simatai Great Wall. It features exquisite mountain courtyard architecture in the styles of the Ming and Qing dynasties and the Republic of China period. The entire ancient town is nestled between mountains and water, simple and elegant, combining both the grand courtyards of the north and the gentle scenery of a Jiangnan water town. You can stroll along the paths of the ancient town, enjoy the magnificent scenery of mountains, rivers, and villages with the Great Wall as a backdrop, explore the town's restaurants and shops, and seek out local specialties.
