Lhasa - Qüxü - Gambala Snow Mountain - Yamdrok Lake - Gyantse - Shigatse
In the morning, you will set off from Lhasa by vehicle, pass through Qushui, climb the winding mountain road over the 4,990-meter Gambala Snow Mountain, gaze at the Gambala Radar Station in the distance, and visit the world's highest freshwater lake, Yamdrok Lake. In Tibetan, Yamdrok means "Lake of Swans". It is one of the three sacred lakes of Tibet, at an altitude of 4,441 meters. Yamdrok Lake has many branching inlets, like coral branches, and its beauty is unsurpassed in southern Tibet. The clear lake water, towering snow mountains and washed-blue sky merge into one, and the picturesque scenery makes people linger. Finally, via the ancient city of Gyantse, you will go to Shigatse, the capital of Tsang at an altitude of 3,750 meters, for overnight stay.

Shigatse - Lhatse - Gyatso La Snow Mountain - Tingri - Everest Base Camp
After breakfast, you will travel by vehicle through Lhatse, the golden peak first illuminated by light, and cross the 5,220-meter-high Gyatso La Snow Mountain, arriving in Tingri County at the foot of Mount Everest on the northern slope of the middle section of the Himalayas, where mountains rise in layered ridges and snow peaks tower majestically. Afterwards, arrive at the world's highest Mount Everest Nature Reserve and at the world's highest monastery, the 4,900-meter-high [Rongbuk Monastery] (optional, admission 25 yuan). Looking south at Mount Everest, this is also recognized as the best place to gaze up at the peak. Then you will take an eco-friendly bus to stay overnight at the 5,200-meter-high [Everest Base Camp]. At dusk, as night gradually shrouds the mountains, only the summit of Mount Everest shines in the sunset like the goddess's golden crown in the sky, letting you enjoy the honor of standing atop the world and being supreme on Earth. Tip: The road from Shigatse to Mount Everest is newly paved asphalt, with good road conditions and some winding mountain sections, so please bring motion sickness medicine. Accommodation at Base Camp is simple, with multi-person rooms, hot water, and no breakfast provided.

Everest - Shigatse
In the early morning, while the peaks still slumber in the dawn, you will face the rising sun and look up at Mount Everest, receiving a spiritual baptism from the world's highest peak (8,844.43 meters). Its summit snow never melts year-round, glaciers hang suspended, and silver peaks tower aloft in a scene of holy purity. Carrying with you the lingering beauty of Everest, you will take in a corner of the majestic, magnificent, and endlessly stretching Himalayas, and the surging Yarlung Valley, before returning to Shigatse. Tip: For the morning sunrise at Everest, the area near Rongbuk Monastery is the best spot for photography. Getting up early will reward you with unexpected scenery.

Shigatse - Tashilhunpo Monastery - Tibetan Folk Village - Lhasa
After breakfast, you will drive to visit [Tashilhunpo Monastery], the seat of the Panchen Lamas through the ages. Inside the monastery, incense smoke rises from censers, offering lamps flicker, and the Buddhas have various dignified appearances. In the main hall, monks chant sutras in orderly fashion; before the Buddha statues, devotees prostrate in worship. For over 500 years, it has attracted numerous Buddhist pilgrims and visitors from home and abroad. The monastery houses the world's largest indoor bronze seated Buddha, the Jampa Buddha, built in 1914 under the supervision of the Ninth Panchen Lama, Chokyi Nyima, and preserves precious Buddhist scriptures written in gold powder, such as the Kangyur and Tengyur. Afterward, you will visit a Tibetan village to participate in a distinctive folk village activity with Tibetan compatriots, experience Tibetan culture, and then return to Lhasa along the Yarlung Tsangpo River valley via the China-Nepal Highway.
